From head to Heart - Part 2
Have you ever felt you are permanently in a crowded room with the music turned up loud? That feeling that you can’t hear the person next to you even though they are shouting? All this time your thoughts turn to your inner feelings of inadequacy. So what do you do?
There only seem to be two options: dance the night away and pretend that everything is hunky-dory or escape outside to solitude for as long as you feel you won’t be missed (or are missing out) and then return pretending everything is okay.
Always pretending everything is okay.
But no-one else seems to feel like this, so you think, ‘There must be something wrong with me. Keep hiding it. Don't let anyone know.’
You feel sure there should be an off switch - but you can’t find it.
